My dream was to get married in Las Vegas...Sin City. When we had to plan our wedding my Home-Ec class, I chose to plan a Vegas wedding complete with getting married by The King himself. I love Elvis, gaudy over-the-top decorations, The Strip, Wal-Mart stores with Spanish-tiled roofs, heck I love all things Las Vegas. The song Waking Up in Vegas by Katy Perry had only been out a few months when Christopher and I decided to get hitched (read more about that here), and that's the song that's most in my mind when I think about our Vegas Wedding, sure it's not 'appropriate' but it is apropos.
