  2. Monet's Waterlily's are beautiful. Georgia O'Keefe will give her a different perspective on art. I love Starry Night. Have you seen Starry Night Over the Rhone? It's gorgeous. I think you picked some awesome art. Of course I think that any kind of art that a child is exposed to is awesome. Not enough of that kind of exposure is being done any more. I remember going on field trips in school to museums and different things. It was something I won't forget. Your daughter is lucky. Great post Stephanie. :)

  3. I'ma bit late on commenting on this, but I'll still give my two cents. First of all, I love, adore, and utterly am obsessed with Jackson Pollock and would like to spend the rest of my life in Number 32. I wish to see it live before I die. There are so many patterns in there that I'm just itching to decipher.

Then, I would love to see Automat by Edward Hopper because there are so many stories to be told from that one instant in time. That's what I particularly like about Hopper; he makes my imagination expand. Is she waiting for someone who never came? Is she just on her own drinking coffee? Does she look sad, pensive, maybe just weary? All of his works are just so suggestive.
